Amazing selection of cheese from all over the world. The proprietor has a wealth of knowledge about the products. It makes for a very enjoyable experience. He has turned me on to some amazing cheeses I would have never tried. The atmosphere is great. Cozy interior with great music always playing softly in the background. It's always a pleasure stopping in.

A great place for any cheese lover. The selection is great and the owner is extremely knowledgable. He is able to share a lot of info on tasting notes and the history behind a-lot of the cheese. Every two weeks shipments come in so everything is always fresh and there are always new things to try. My wife and I have made a habit of stocking up here every once in a while and having wine & cheese nights. I cant recommend enough!

We decided to have a cake made of cheese instead of a more traditional cake at our recent wedding. We went into La Jolie Cheese Shop which is tucked away in St. Andrew’s Village in Aurora where we live. For some reason, maybe because it can be a bit hard to find, we had not been there before but are so happy we went in. Michael, the proprietor, is so knowledgeable about not only the cheese they have in the shop but also cheese he can order. We described what we wanted including the countries we wanted to have represented in our cake and Michael made excellent suggestions. He had all of the dimensions of the wheels of cheese which was necessary for us to create the tiers of the cake. When we made our decisions he ordered the cheese and it was all ready to be picked up the day before the wedding. The results were spectacular and wowed all of our guests. Thank you Michael for your knowledge, excellent suggestions, patience and making sure everything was ready to be picked up when needed. The shop itself has cheese boards, crackers and other goodies along with the wonderful selection of cheese. We highly recommend La Jolie Cheese Shop!

A Cheese Lover’s Paradise! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their selection, always offering spot-on recommendations. Warm and welcoming, they truly make the experience unforgettable. A true gem! We paired our latest cheese selection with freshly baked homemade baguettes and persimmon paste from Nara. It’s absolutely worth the drive or a detour from the city!
