We aren't local, but we were staying nearby for the weekend. The staff were so friendly and greeted us as we arrived. We didn't have a reservation, and we had a 18month with us. This wasn't a problem at all, and they made room for us. Not only was the service brilliant and welcoming, but the food was so tasty! My wife said the lasagne was the best she has ever had! My risotto was also absolutely delicious, so much flavour. We were looking for a tasty Italian, and this was exactly what we wanted. Thank you 😁

First time at this place recently & whilst the food was lovely, there were too many check ups on how everything was. One dish came out incorrect, but the correct one was brought out quickly. Also, not everyone had finished their starters but one of the servers cleared the plates of those who had finished, rather than waiting until everyone had finished. These points are just minor & I'd like to add the staff were very welcoming & friendly, plus I'd return for another meal. 😊

I went with my family on valentine's Day busy day , staff a bit over pressure but they handle it well we didn't wait long for the food , the place was well decorated and good environment. The food was 5 stars 🤩 very tasty and while we were there people reaction when they tried the food was very reassuring that La Bella Restaurant do good food for the Shepton Mallet community. The only thing that I would recommend this restaurant to do is getting more clear about allergies for their costumers. Valentine's Menu was good but no allergies showing 😔 and everyday Main Menu needs improvement compared to other restaurants. Overall the food is great and congrats to the Chef and keep up the good work for many years to come 😉😉

We visited the Sunday evening before Christmas at 5pm as a party of 6. We're holidaying in the area and wanted to find a local Italian to celebrate a birthday. We were delighted with our choice. The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu catered for everyone and I was delighted to see that it was 2 for £13 on cocktails before 6pm. We parked in the Regal Rd East car park. We would definitely recommend and wish them every success with their new venture.
