I met Nick, Hunter and Dominic at the worst possible time of my life.  I was suffering from cancer in and out of the hospital and at the same time the bank was coming after my home.  A home that my wife and I had been living in since 1991.  We had in excess of $500,000 in equity in the home which we were about to lose. While I was in the hospital the mortgage company forecloses on the home with a foreclosure sale.  Multiple lawyers told me that the home was sold and we had no recourse.  This is when I met Nick Yousif.  At a time of tremendous stress after seeing my home get taken away while I was suffering from Cancer and losing over a half a million dollars in equity. Realizing that the home was gone was the most difficult issue my wife and I had ever faced, not to mention that I was also suffering from Cancer.  Nick had found my story on a law referral site and called me.  This was divine intervention from above for my wife and I.  He met with us the next day and filed suit that day.  This stopped the foreclosure after the foreclosure sale, something I was told could not be done even though I was sure there must be a way to challenge the sale.  Lucky for us Nick had this knowledge from experience that there was a process that would save our home. The holiday season was not good in 2023.  But in 2024 Nick had made great strides in getting our situation fixed, starting with the ability to sell the home and participate in the equity that we had built over time even though we had substantial delinquent payments.  Nick did not stop there he continued working on our case and this story ends well.  We now own our home again on our terms and have repaired the mortgage and am currently living in my home with my wife and our dog and now have the many benefits of home ownership again.  Thank you Shield Law! This is very important; Nick was in a very powerful position to charge very lucrative fee's as he was saving my home.  He did the job and my legal bill was less than 2% of what I have retained.  Nick, Hunter and Dominic did what most lawyers could not do or did not want to do.  I cannot express how much appreciation my wife and I have for Shield Law as they seemed to be driven by a good outcome for a couple that had no hope.
