KSE was honest, speedy and fairly priced. Jeff showed up on time, was very polite, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He had the parts required in his van so he was able to repair the door in an hour. Before confirming he had the parts, he said if he didn’t have them he could do a temporary fix and come back next week. I thought that was a nice touch. I had called other companies before KSE came out. One wanted to charge $149 just to come out while most provide free estimates. Another tried to upsell me to the tune of 2-5x what KSE ended up costing. The other company provided a whole list of things they thought needed to be replaced - I went through this list with Jeff after he provided his opinion and estimate. He patiently reviewed each item and told me why he thought it didn’t need to be replaced (eg my old torsion rod is better quality than the ones made these days and it should last a long time; same for other parts the other company recommended replacing), and explained why other parts did need replacing. It’s common for garage companies to try to upsell. I found Jeff to be very honest and fair. I’ll definitely call KSE if I have future issues.
