Jack BurdenMy girlfriend had a bouncy blow dry today at 11.45am. She has below the shoulder length hair and it is thick but has never had trouble getting a blow dry before. She came out with loose curls (essentially flicky ends) her blow dry was frizzy and there was no volume. I understand some may find thicker hair harder to do but what she left the salon with what seems like just a wash and rough dry. Not worth the money. She paid 280 AED / £60. Could get better elsewhere and would go somewhere else next time.
Harriet SheppardWould avoid if possible. Wanted a simple bouncy blow dry and came away with frizzy flicky ends. The stylist seemed at a junior level perhaps or had little experience with my hair type. My hair is thick but isn’t too long, just below my collar bone. My hair kept getting stuck in the round brushes and no anti frizz products were used. My back got wet at the basin and when brushing through my hair it wasn’t parted so was hard to control what bits needed to be dried next as it was all over the place. Was very rushed to leave. Only small talk, although I understand this could be due to a language barrier. Had to go back to my room to touch up my hair with hair straighteners as it was a bit of a mess and I have plans to go out. Overall wouldn’t go back but I understand people have bad off days!
