Customer experiences
I brought my Honda Civic in for a diagnostic, and the team immediately identified the cause of the check engine light and fixed it. They also replaced two other parts that needed attention. The car wasn’t driving smoothly, and they caught the transmission issue right away as well. Big thank you to Dilan and his team for always taking great care of both the customers and their cars. They’re very friendly, honest, and their prices are reasonable. Highly recommend
Amazing experience bringing my vehicles to Dilan and his team! Wow, amazing service and prices, they are fast too. They are honest and so hard working! I HAVE A VERY HARD CAR TO WORK ON! Audi vehicles are notoriously difficult for mechanics, and usually quite expensive to service, BEST PRICE i have ever been given for servicing an Audi A4 quattro, and they work so fast! I drove the car in when they first opened at the beginning of the day. Instantly when they opened, they were extremely busy, i watched so many cars be dopped of and so many cutsomers I could sense it was almost overwhelming for Dilan to manage and the bays were all full and mechanics were hard at work. I went and got him a coffee simply cuz if the roles were reversed, that would help me so much in his shoes. I let him know I'm 5 mins away, I went and got emails phone calls and banking done. Bam they said it would be ready to pick up soon. I ended up coming to pick her up (this Audi is a her, just to clear up any confusion) and i ended up having to come by around 2pm. They were still swamped busy, all different cars! The ...owner... *i think* (his name is Dilan) works so hard running that place, that he still hadn't had any breaks! I don't think he even sat down, i asked, he still hadnet eaten breakfast yet! Not even enough time to drink his coffee yet! His wife and him are both so sweet, and you can feel good energy they radiate, both of them, their, eyes full of that bright light some people have. Look, now the best part, is their honesty... you want an honest shop with honest, talented mechanics, I haven't found a better one than this, and I have beeeeeeen loooooooking for a while! The second best part is the price! Like Audi ANYWHERE else I've inquired always A FORTUNE for my Audi. Not here, was priced like servicing a Ford, I gor my breaks done there too, way cheaper than anywhere else for this car so far. They won't rip you off, they won't waste your time, they will do a good job, while treating you with respect. They accommodate to the best of their *within their limitations, of course* I'm never going to another shop, this is the one now, no where else. For real... Save yourself some time, and just go here first, you won't regret it. If you do regret it, you're probably the type of person who regrets on the regular đź’Ż. (Teasing) -------Summary------- Don't go to a mechanic you will regret, just go here. For real.
I had a disappointing experience at Homeland Auto Repairs Ltd. My vehicle had failed an out of province inspection due to two missing brake backing plates. I contacted Dillon to have the missing plates installed. I brought my car in, clearly explained the issue, and specified that I needed two new backing plates added where they were missing. When I picked up the car, I realized he had installed a plate on the wrong tire. He replaced one existing (rusty) plate and only added one new plate, leaving one tire still without a backing plate. When I called to address the mistake, he told me, “Well, that one was so rusty it needed to be replaced anyway.” This was never discussed or authorized. I had only agreed to the installation of two new plates where they were missing - not the replacement of existing ones. Despite the mix-up being on his end, he tried to charge me again to install the third plate that should have been done in the first place. Dillon was dismissive and disrespectful both on the phone and in person. He blamed me and took no accountability for the issue! Total lack of clear communication and professionalism. I won’t be returning and don’t recommend this shop.
Remember to specifically mention you DON'T need a "safety inspection" when going for a an oil change, which they charge $10 for, even though you didn't ask for it so they can find other repairs to make money on. Apparently you have to say what you don't want done on your car here haha... Always something slippery about these shops...
