Have been quite a few times, however last week really stood out. Went for my birthday and I was treated to a yummy birthday treat. Ice cream and a deep fried pastry. The waitress was phenomenal! (Cannot remember her name) We were there chatting away for at least 3 hrs. At no time were made to feel rushed, unwelcome or in the way. We were quite impressed with how we were treated. Many other restaurants would have rushed us out to turn the table and we were told multiple times to enjoy. Food was great and fresh, as always. That was the 1st time eating downstairs. The upstairs patio is quite lovely. We each got the LUNCH BENTO BOX snack size as well as an additional roll. I got the white tuna, seaweed salad and Shiitake roll.

Our go to location is Lasalle one, this was first time at Tecumseh. Enjoyed the open upstairs seating. Service time was more compared to Lasalle outlet. Although same taste and as always delicious vegetarian options. Walkerville, Mango and LA are our favourite rolls.

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. I’m from Ottawa, and after eating at Kona, sushi back home just doesn’t compare anymore — it’s genuinely ruined Ottawa sushi for me in the best way possible. Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. The peanut sauce was especially unique and unforgettable — something I’ve never had anywhere else and still think about. This was a truly notable experience and a place I would go out of my way to return to.

Absolutely love love love this place! Kona has the best sushi, staff and atmosphere ever. Would highly recommend to anyone. They have options for everyone including those who don’t even like sushi. Perfect place for any occasion.
