Had my first visit to Kitchener dental today and was so impressed! They were very thorough, non-judgemental and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Overall, they made a not so pleasant experience, a pleasant one! Thank you!

I called to book a dental appointment and asked if someone could check my benefit plan before scheduling. The receptionist seemed uninterested and unwilling to help, which left me feeling brushed off. Because of the lack of effort and customer care, I decided to cancel my appointment. I used to come here about two years ago and there were reception at the time with amazing so friendly and would help you with anything So it’s disappointing

I have been going to this Dentist for 30+ years. There have been new staff over the years but they are always kind, understanding, and gentle which makes going to the dentist less stressful. Ricardo has been my hygienist for years and I would not switch! He’s very good!

I was referred by a friend who see Dr Kitchener regularly. She couldn't speak high enough about Dr. Kitchener so I decided to give his office a try. I wanted to book with Dr. Kitchener but I wasn't able to schedule with him. Having a high anxiety about dentists and everything about a dentist office I agreed to see Dr. Write. I came in met with her and it was a positive experience. She made me feel comfortable she had a wonderful vibe and she came up with a plan to fix my issues. My plan with what I need done would cost approximately 25,000 dollars. So of course I had to go home and think on it. While there I got exrays and they poked and scanned my mouth. The following Tuesday my mouth pain had gotten bad so I called and was ready to do something about the pain. When I called I told the person on the phone what was going on and that we had come up with a plan on Fri. I was told they were short staffed and that she would get with the dr to see if they could accommodate my needs that day..and call me back. She called me back, Everything I requested she said they could do today for a 700 dollar bill so I got a 4pm appointment. I took off early from work to get the appointment and when I arrived thats where my 1 star review comes from. When I got there I was suprised that wasn't seeing Dr. Write and they didnt have an understanding of what I was needing. And by this time my anxiety was thru the roof and I was in pain. Not knowing what exactly to do I proceeded because I was in pain. It took them a half an hr to figure out a plan for me but could do nothing for my pain this day because it was getting close to 5 so I agreed to this new temporary plan that would cost 2500. I got the impressions and that made the tooth pain worse and at this point begged for pain relief. They would not give me anything for the pain. And I was told I can come back tomorrow get the teeth pulled and the impressions would be done by end of day. I paid 950 and was given an option to get a numbing shot for 30 dollars which I declined at this point on pure principle and was told if the pain gets to bad..I should go to the ER. Nothing about my second experience at this dentist like he first time. They let me pay my 900 bucks and they also let me leave in tears and in pain. I feel that from the praise my coworkers gave Dr Kitchener had I had him..I wouldn't have had this bad experience. I was made to feel like a number and not a person. Today I go back to have these teeth pulled and my partial will be modified. And I will add a part 2 to my experience. But Im fairly certain Kitchener dental lost a potential 25,000 dollar patient..for lack of empathy
