In 2023, a Kilgore driver crashed into us while pulling out of a parking spot, thereby totaling our car. After admitting fault at the scene, they simply drove off in their still-functioning vehicle, leaving us stranded on our way to work. No apology. No offer to help us get home. Not even a gesture like covering an Uber. Instead of handling the claim properly through insurance, Kilgore insisted on settling privately. (For future reference, I recommend forgoing their preferred method and using your own insurance.) What followed was a slow, frustrating process where we were passed between people, strung along for weeks, and ultimately underpaid. We had to front the cost of a long-term rental car through Enterprise (nearly $2,000) while waiting for Kilgore to respond. A large portion of their eventual payout went toward covering their delay. Their handling of this was evasive at best, and negligent at worst. The way they downplayed their responsibility and dragged out the resolution speaks volumes about their company culture. For a business operating large vehicles and heavy machinery, this level of carelessness and avoidance is unacceptable.

If I could give no stars I would. I was behind this truck in Moab when a massive rock hit my windshield from the truck. I submitted a claim almost 6 weeks ago and have yet to get any response. I’ve emailed and even called even though they “don’t take any claims over the phone”. I understand you get a lot of claims but I was told over 2 weeks ago I had 3 claims ahead of me.

Very ignorant workers, they are repaving the road that we take to get to work. We get that there can be delays, but there is no outlet. The flagger that should be helping people get around was cursing and yelling at the staff in our building when they were trying to get back to our building after taking clients home. Very unprofessional. Then when we tried to call and report it, instead of letting us talk to a person they sent us to I'm. I hope they finish quickly so we don't have to Subject our people to more vulgar unpleasantnes!
