Callan MacConnachieHands down the best Indian in Brackley. We are always well looked after whilst sharing jokes and brilliant conversation with the owner who’s a fantastic character himself. It would not be the same without him. There’s a reason Formula 1 teams eat here. Ignore all of the negative reviews, I can tell you after reading, these people are sensitive, expecting too much and cannot accept an authentic character running the restaurant. This is a simple authentic experience, just book a table, order your delicious food and enjoy. Easy.
Cecily GaleJust moved to the area and decided to go and ask if they had a table this evening with our 5 year old daughter as we were walking past. The worker looked us up and down and said he had no tables. We thought this was odd as the place seemed empty so on the walk home my husband called and asked to book a table for 10 minutes time and they immediately said yes. My husband then asked why they now had a table when we were refused at the door. He said they don’t allow children. Nothing on the website or door tell you they have a ‘no children’ policy and it was not mentioned when asking for a booking either. Pretty unprofessional in my view and as others have said very rude and unwelcoming. can’t comment on food but luckily the other Indian restaurants in town are much more professional, friendly and do amazing food so won’t feel the need to ever go back to this place thank goodness! I can see all the less than ‘good’ reviews are met with a snarky comment or accusations from the owner so let’s see 😂 i enjoyed the one where he accused someone of steeling something in retaliation 😅
McKinley PhoneWent with a couple of old school friends after the Summer Fest. Food was absolutely spot on. Just a shame that so few people were supporting this excellent eatery on a Saturday night. We were told it's a marmite place before we went. But those who were there enjoyed the banter. Ignore the bad reviews - it seems that folk nowadays are sometimes a bit too quick to judge, or too easily offended. If you want a decent curry then eat out at this place. Just smile and it's fun!
