I cannot recommend Meghan, Kristen and the entire KG team enough! I just got married on Martha's Vineyard and it was the most amazing day all thanks to them. They are extremely detail-oriented, thorough and just a joy to work with. Meghan was our lead planner and I feel so lucky we had her to guide us throughout the process, she supported every idea we had and gave us amazing advice when we needed it. She is the best! I never felt stressed which is so rare as the bride. Will miss working with KG and would recommend them 100x over if anyone is planning a wedding or big event! The best events team out there!!

Trusting the KG Team, especially through working with Kim to create the wedding of our dreams was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Our only wish is that we could do it all again! From the jump, we felt completely understood and heard as we formed what the vision of our wedding day could be. Especially not being local to the Cape area, their guiding hand when it came to vendors, recommendations, etc. was absolutely vital. As someone who is very type A, I know that I am not the easiest to work with but Kim constantly made me feel at ease and addressed all my extra questions, requests, and need for additional calls without ever making me feel like "too much". She was there for us for any/all vendor calls and appointments, and I felt as if she was reading my mind or had a vision for something even better as we were working through finalizing these details with the various vendors. Lastly, the assistance we had from the KG Team on site for wedding weekend was more valuable than we can put into words. They had helped us to prepare our thoughts on any/all scenarios leading up to the weekend that everything flowed and was perfectly seamless. We never had time to ask if something needed to be done because they had already anticipated and taken care of that for us allowing us to be fully present and enjoy the day. Kim even worked with my parents on a secret firework surprise to end the night that blew our socks off. All to say, we could not have asked for a better team and are looking forward to another time in the future where we hope our paths will cross again! We would recommend Kim and the KG team 10 times over. Thank you for everything!!

My husband and I, as well as our families, could not possibly recommend KG Events & Design more!!!! Friends and family often commented on how they were shocked at how I wasn't stressed the year leading up to our wedding, or even our wedding weekend itself. And I would have the same answer every time - it's because of KG Events & Design. From the initial planning phases, to the design aspect, the tastings and finishing touches, I was never alone in any part of decision making. I am very indecisive in my nature! I was in constant communication with our lead planner Meg, who always made me feel assured and confident every step of the planning process. If you ask my Mom, out of all of the vendors we hired, KG Events & Design was the best investment, hands down. As mentioned, Meg was our lead planner, but every single team member was equally easy to work with, organized, detail oriented, and extremely professional. In deciding if we would hire KG Events shortly after we got engaged, we had spoken to someone that works in downtown Edgartown, who said: "Everything KG touches turns to Gold". He was spot on.

If you are even considering hiring a planner, stop reading this and just call Meghan at KG Events immediately. She is, without exaggeration, the single best decision we made in our entire three years of wedding planning. We started planning while my husband was in law school and got married right after graduation, so this was a long journey. Through every season, every idea (even my more “wild” ones), and every budget conversation, Meghan was the steady, brilliant, endlessly creative force behind it all. Every single detail — and I mean every detail — was flawless. Guests kept telling us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, and I believe them. There is not one thing I would change. The best part? I was never once stressed. People would ask me if I was overwhelmed and I always said, “No, because I have Meghan.” When you have 100% trust in someone, the planning becomes joyful instead of stressful, and that’s exactly what she gave us. Her vendor recommendations were all incredible (and every vendor I talked to told me Meghan is the best of the best to work with because she is soooo organized). And come wedding day, everything just… happened like magic! If I could only keep one part of our wedding — the venue, the weather, the vendors, the dress — it would be Meghan. She is the reason our wedding was perfect. The only sad part is that our weekly calls and texts are over! Brides, do yourselves the biggest favor: hire Meghan and KG Events. You will never regret it.
