We have been taking our cars to Kens Car Care for many years, and have always been very pleased with their service. I twisted wrenches for a few years myself, and I can safely say these folks know what they are doing. They are great communicators and clearly explain what the problem is and what the options are to fix it. The quality of their work is first rate, and they do all this for a very reasonable cost. My kind of shop!

Five stars is not enough! THE BEST SHOP IN CORVALLIS When moving our student to OSU, the check engine light on the car started flashing. It was Thursday afternoon at 1:30pm (Kens is closed Friday - Sunday) A Google search confirmed the car should not be driven as significant damage could occur. We called Kens and after a detailed conversation, we collectively decided the 5 mile drive at a slow pace would be safe. He suggested if the issue was a coil, it was an easy fix and they could get us back on the road that afternoon. Ken and his team dropped everything to assist us when we arrived. We left them to work on it, only to receive a call that they could not get the check engine light to come on after we turned the car off upon arriving at the shop. Ken did some checking of the coils and could not find an issue but did make some slight adjustments. We picked the car up and were told there was no charge as they really didn't do much to warrant collecting a fee. While we appreciated no bill, it was his sense of urgency in our situation that has us now loyal clients. Ken understood how challenging it would have been to leave our student without a car when we left to return home. Maybe it was the timing of it all for our situation and their schedule that day, but as a Mom, I greatly appreciated his assistance, attention to detail and understanding. THANK YOU!!

They were able to get me in same day, car was ready by midafternoon. Noted things that need to be fixed/replaced soon, was willing to replace now but didn't push when I opted to wait. Pricing is fair and front office manager Chris keeps things clear and easy to understand. Was recommended this mechanic by family and have never regretted having them be my primary mechanic.

I found Ken’s Car Care to be extremely knowledgeable and fair. I really appreciated getting a written report from them to review and consider so all my questions could be answered. They were honest about what was urgent and what was a short or long term future need!
