I wish there were an option for no stars. I’ve been a loyal customer of this garage for almost eight years, primarily for the convenience of its location, despite their relatively higher prices. However, my recent experience has been so disappointing that I will never return. Previously, I could leave my car for one or two hours for its MOT and pick it up without hassle. Yesterday, I was asked to drop the car off at 10 am, and they promised to call me when it was ready. By 2 pm, I hadn’t heard from them, so I called to check. After multiple attempts at 2 pm, 3 pm, and finally at 4 pm (an hour before closing), someone finally answered. The person informed me that my car had failed its MOT due to an issue with the indicator, which caught me completely off guard as I had no prior concerns about the car. When I asked for clarification, I was met with an unexpectedly rude and defensive response. The staff member aggressively questioned me, saying, “You don’t know what an indicator is?” and then added dismissively, “You can come and collect the car now without the MOT if you like.” I was shocked by the tone but chose to remain calm, deciding to leave the car overnight to have the issue addressed. When I returned the next morning, I attempted to express my concerns about the rude treatment over the phone. To my astonishment, the same staff member became even more aggressive and dismissive, telling me, “There are plenty of garages out there; you can take your car elsewhere.” At that point, I decided I would never use this garage again. The customer service was appalling, with zero professionalism or respect shown. After years of being a customer, this experience felt entirely unacceptable and deeply disappointing. Whether this treatment was due to poor training, a lack of regard for customer loyalty, or something more troubling like discriminatory attitudes, I’ll never know. What I do know is that I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone.

Huge thank you to Kennington Motors for helping us out of a difficult situation. We were visiting the area from Nottingham when we lost our exhaust. They were able to fit us in and repair the car even though they had a very busy schedule. Thank you for being so helpful, we really did appreciate it.
