Customer experiences
Rob and Scott did an amazing job! Five stars!. Very kind and respectful. They were gentleman. I had no electricity in half of my household and they fixed every problem that I had, even went underneath my house to fix an electrical issue. They communicated well, and we're on time . To the dot. Would highly recommend.
We had Keast come out to check a bedroom light and install new coach lights outside. Rob and his apprentice did a fantastic job on all the work. They were communicative, on time, and professional. They quickly determined the bedroom light and fan needed to be replaced, picked one up for us and got it done in under an hour. They replaced 4 old and gross coach lights on the outside of our house. The updated ones look great. In addition, they installed permanent outdoor decorative lighting for us. These take cleaning the soffets, precise measuring, and screws for extra hold. These look absolutely amazing! They even troubleshot needing a separate power source for one of the strings and remained at our house longer so they could get it right. Super happy with the results! Will definitely work with Rob and team at Keast again for any electrical needs.
I had an issue with security light on the side of my house. I contacted Jeff Keast, actually, I stopped by the shop and caught him there! Told him my problem, he called Rob right then, Rob said he could do the job the same day!! Rob came out, looked at what I had and recommended a different style. He picked up the light and installed it same day. Rob and Scott are quite a team! This company really cares about their work, and the customer! I will always call them for any electrical needs I might have! I highly recommend this company.
Had them come because my attic fan was making noise, they came without a replacement and charged me full price for two technicians (they told me two is standard practice for working in attics) hourly to go to Menards for an hour to pick one up. The whole repair start to finish was less than an hour of time of them working, but cost the price of two. Didn't like that, but I guess it was tying up their time to go get the part (which I really would have assumed they had present with them for an attic fan repair) and so I let it go. Then within a few months, the new one was making noise again. I asked them to come back because I paid a fortune for the replacement and they replaced it for free, but told me it would probably happen again because the problem that was actually wrong wasn't fixed, they just put in a new fan. Now it is doing it again. I tried calling on the 11th of July, was told a technician would call me to schedule. Hadn't heard back from them by the 14th of July, called again. Was told the same thing. Called back the 21st, told a nice call center lady the scenario and she told me the same thing, but said she would relay that they haven't called back in a week. Still haven't heard back from them. Super disappointed in their company at this point. Update: within hours of posting this review, the company did reach out to me. I was told that the wrong number somehow got written down and they had been trying to reach me and got my correct number from an old file. They were able to come out the next day to replace the fan again. The gentleman who came told me that it was a manufacturing defect, but screws were drilled out and replaced with bolts, which aligned with what I saw when I went up to look at it before they came and the fan was hitting the housing causing the sound. He also asked me to update my review. I appreciate them being willing to come out and fix their work when it was not done satisfactorily and has (had?) a recurrent issue. Hoping the problem is handled now.
Keast Electric Inc is a electrician.
