The absolute WORST banking experience we have ever had. My husband and I switched over to KCT after being fed up with big banks. They have somehow made the experience even worse. If you deposit a physical check it takes days to see that reflected in your balance (at Chase it is typically the next day). They charge you fees for literally everything (checks, statements, everything). After they got bought out by another company, they randomly started charging me fees to transfer money between my own accounts. And whatever you do, DO NOT get a credit card with them. They make it nearly impossible to pay from an account that is not a KCT account. My husband and I could not for the life of us figure out how to pay the card online, we had to call in to pay almost every time. I have never had a credit card where there wasn't a way to pay online with a checking account. Not only that, the balance shown does not reflect what you actually owe, they continue to charge you accrued interest even if you pay the card in full, so you are stuck in a never ending loop of paying interest because you never know the *actual* balance on your card unless you call in (shocker yet again). The branches are always closed for some random reason when you need something (they don't open until 11am on Wednesdays). I sincerely regret ever making the transition and wish I could go back 2 years and have saved myself the headache. We are so excited to close our accounts here.
