K9 Leadership Training and Chris Krantz saved our puppy relationship!!! We adopted two bernese pups who are siblings and we were in WAY over our heads. We had trained our prior pups without any trouble but these siblings were something else. I found Chris via Google Reviews here and reached out to set an appointment. We had her work with both dogs and my family. HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: CHRIS IS TRAINING THE HUMAN MORE THAN THE DOG!!!!! You need to be aware that Chris will correct YOUR behavior before she corrects the animal's behavior. YOU need to be willing to learn. It took me a session or two to understand that concept. Once I did, our training really took off. The dogs loved working with Chris and her dog Bug. The last thing I will say is about using E-Collars. Chris showed us how to use them as a tool and use them correctly. We can now walk off leash, go into a store, put the dogs on 'place' anywhere, and it is ALL because of Chris. Chris is wonderful! She helped us get set up for our puppy before she arrived, which made those first few weeks a lot easier. Our dog loves training and loves working with Chris. If she hears Chris’s voice on a video we are watching, she will search the house certain Chris is somewhere hiding and ready to play. Chris is very knowledgeable and is there to help. I often text or call with questions between training sessions and Chris always responds with the perfect suggestions. She knows what she is doing and I am thankful she is helping me train my excitable Poodle.

Me and my dog Violet are working towards being a therapy team. The techniques Chris teaches are easy to learn for both dog and owner. I really liked learning the scientific and consistent approach of Chris's training that was full of fun for me and my dog. Violet is great off leash , heels perfectly, places whenever I ask and is the most obedient dog. Everyone is so impressed with her behavior, and I'm equally as proud of her. We adopted a Goldendoodle (Rudy) when he was about 7 months old. We were having problems with him getting overly excited at the park and on hikes as well as chasing the neighbors horses. After our first session with Chris, we basically resolved the horse issue and over the following session work on on and off leash behavior in different settings. It was the best investment and has made being a dog owner so much more enjoyable. We love to hike and get outdoors. We can now take Rudy with us without worrying about his behavior. I actually just got back from a ski tour with him and he did great. I highly recommended Chris and the K9 leadership training program. She did a great job communicating with us throughout the process and always checked in with us between session with little bits of information. Anytime I had questions, I could text Chris and would get a response quickly. Chris was great with Rudy and gave us the tools we needed to be better dog owners.
