Lindsay was a godsend for our wedding. She helped us create the vision for our out-of-province wedding and finding all the vendors we needed. The wedding planning portal created for us was immensely helpful and tracking tasks, guests, RSVPs, seating layouts, and payment scheduling. Lindsay coordinated with all of the vendors on our behalf and created the perfect schedule leaving enough time for us to do all things we wanted to do. The wedding day went perfectly and couldn't ask for a better wedding planner. The vendors also complimented on how well organized and planned everything wad on the wedding day. I will always recommend Lindsay to anyone that needs a wedding planner.

We worked with Julie and Lindsay for our wedding, and they made our dream wedding become a reality. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about anything other than making ourselves beautiful and showing up on time. Throughout our engagement, we met with them monthly and they made sure we were on track. 10/10 would recommend.

We hired Julie & Co. as our day-of coordinator, and while we were pleased with the aesthetic outcome, the experience was unfortunately defined by significant and stressful errors in coordination and communication. Positives: • The team was personable and pleasant to work with. • Our venue décor was executed beautifully. They made tasteful adjustments that enhanced the space, and we were very happy with the final look. Critical Issues: • Vendor Mismanagement: A major miscommunication led to our caterer being told that dessert was not required. This was incorrect and resulted in significant delays and last-minute scrambling by the catering team. This level of error is unacceptable for a core part of the event. • Lack of Attention to Detail: The detailed seating chart we provided was not followed. While guests were at the right tables, their assigned seats were wrong, leading to couples and families being separated. Placing named envelopes for couples at separate seats should have been a clear sign to double-check the seating chart we provided. • Poor On-the-Day Problem Solving: When the timeline was delayed (due to the dessert issue they created), the coordinator approached us about needing to change plans without first consulting the other vendors, like the caterer, to see what was feasible. This created unnecessary confusion and stress for us. At one point, they even told us the vegan cake was missing, when it was simply stored in the caterer’s fridge—something they should have checked before worrying us. • Systemic Communication Failures: Several of our vendors reported that they had difficulty communicating with Julie & Co. prior to the wedding and that the team seemed unfamiliar with the timeline on the day itself. The lack of preparedness was so apparent that our MC had to step in and take over many of the coordination duties. • Floral Communication: A mix-up with our flowers was made more stressful by a lack of updates. We were left to worry until we found the coordinator ourselves just before walking down the aisle. • No Follow Up: We have not received any communication since the wedding to acknowledge or explain these issues. • Conclusion: A day-of coordinator's primary role is to execute a well-laid plan and manage logistics seamlessly to remove stress from the couple. Due to the fundamental lack of attention to detail and poor communication, we experienced the opposite. For these reasons, we cannot recommend Julie & Co.

I 100% recommend Julie & Co. We went for the day-of coordination package. I met with Julie for the initial interview which was extremely helpful. Afterwards, I worked with Lindsay. She was AMAZING. She was extremely insightful and gave me great advice the weeks leading up to our wedding. She reached out to vendors and took a huge load of stress off my shoulders. The day of, she not only made sure the little details were as I envisioned, but she made SURE I had something to eat and that I was enjoying my day. I should also mention that Ottawa was hit with a HUGE snowstorm the day of my wedding. Lindsay was not only on time but early and ensured everything ran smoothly. We had to readjust a couple things on our timeline because of the storm, but again, Lindsay ensured this was done efficiently and stress fee. I cannot recommend Julie & Co more, especially Lindsay!
