My neighbor John referred me to this place. I went to 3 DIFFERENT mechanics before them to try and figure out what this weird sound was, sheldons custom muffler, my nissan dealership and another one. They were unable to help me and charged me for services that did not fix the sound. J&S found the answer for me about an HOUR later and documented EVERYTHING. Sometimes I feel like mechanics/car shops will overcharge you or take advantage of you because they think you know nothing as a woman when it comes to cars. I was treated as a normal person and with respect without being overcharged. They fixed my problem and I don't have this weird noise coming from my car anymore, it's hard to find a reliable and dedicated mechanic who is passionate about what they do and I am so glad I found them!! Thank you!!

Absolutely fantastic experience. My vehicle started having problems (unidentifiable to me), took it to a couple shops, to no avail. My first experience was with Macy, the receptionist whom was incredibly kind, patient and understanding from the moment i walked in the door. A gentleman named Aiden came into the office as I was dropping my vehicle off and instantly offered to give it a test drive (a few minutes before close). He was very informative and helpful which instantly put my mind at ease. Carlos was the mechanic who worked on my vehicle and got it into top performing shape, minus a couple of smaller repairs I couldn't afford to fix at the time. But I will definitely be returning to get the rest of my services and repairs in the near future. Best automotive shop experience I've ever had in the springfield area, and missouri as a whole. 5/5 stars, would recommend to all family and friends!!!

Took a vehicle to J&S to get an inspection before buying. They looked at the car fax and researched some items before determining whether it should be inspected. I greatly appreciated them doing this, when they could have just done inspection and charged me. They did a very thorough inspection and walked me through everything they found. I greatly appreciated their honesty. It saved me from purchasing a vehicle that would have caused me headaches down the road. If you are contemplating purchasing a new vehicle, I definitely would recommend having J&S check it out first!
