I normally hate real estate agents. Many of them strike me as unethical, short-sighted, and unprofessional. When I buy properties, I usually refuse to use a regular real estate agent and just use a cashback service since they're not worth what I could save by doing the work myself. However, working with Carlos Dai has been nothing but a pleasure. I couldn't have asked for a better agent than him, and he's worth the fee I could have saved by going with a cashback firm instead. Whenever I encountered problems that I expected to have to deal with on my own, he was always very helpful in suggesting solutions or connecting us with referrals to what appear to be high quality service providers (a contractor, mortgage broker, etc.). Additionally, he was able to work with the listing agent and negotiate on our behalf. I don't think I could have done better than him, even though I have some experience negotiating for work. I can't vouch for any other agents at this firm, but I'd be happy to refer friends/family to Carlos and I would trust that he would take good care of them instead of trying to make a quick buck at their expense.
