The people I have interacted with at this company have been great. My dispatcher keeps me moving. But there are more cons than pros.1. Whoever specs these trucks don’t know what they are doing. For the amount of weight we haul they run a Paccar MX13 engine. Lowest horsepower. Have them cut back to 65 mph with is a proven hazard in itself. Studies show that split speed limits are dangerous, and they do it on their own. Plus when pulling 25 tons up a rolling hill you will drop 10 mph. But away around that is with these automatics is when it get to gear 11 shift into manual then you are in direct drive. Then you can pull hills a little better and faster cause rpm is up and boost is up for when you hit a hill. I had a 2019. peterbuilt 389 with 550 horsepower 373 gear ratio and had no problem climbing hills. Also got same fuel mileage . I know its was all done cause other drivers probably abused it. Just like with Elon’s. You have no split sleeper berth, PC, or adverse driving. So instead of someone punishing the screw up cause they don’t want to have to write people up for their violation everyone gets hit. If they would do like R.B.I they will write you up if they catch it but if D.O.T catches it they suspend you for 3 days. If you get a speeding ticket over 10 automatic termination. But no at J&M they want to hit even the ones who do right. Now their pay scale is confusing and messed up. If you don’t have experience in pneumatic this is the place to learn and move on. I have talked with several people who worked here and moved on cause of one or the other of thing I described. But if you have Experience look elsewhere.

Put in an application got a call back within two weeks a lady called took my information over the phone but the guy I was supposed to talk to never called me back I left voicemails I called everyday for two more weeks never received anything it’s like they were just looking at the phone ring terribly business if you ask me
