I don't usually write reviews, but I've had quite a bad experience. They took my phone in and said it would take 7 days to fix. Since I didn’t hear back after 7 days, I called, and they said it would be another 7 days, no clear explanation, the guy sounded quite annoyed at me even asking why. I ended up having to buy a new phone because I couldn't travel without one. After 15 days, I still hadn’t heard anything, so I went into the shop to check if it had been fixed. It hadn’t. Instead of explaining why they couldn't fix it after more than two weeks, they just started ignoring me and moved on to the next customer. To make things worse, I had booked online for a 9AM appointment, but the person turned up 15 minutes late to open the shop, which made me late for work. I don’t think 7 days is a normal amount of time to fix a phone anyway, but to take over two weeks, then not fix it at all and not letting me know is definitely not okay. I don’t think this is necessarily how the shop treats all customers, but I had a really bad experience and I won’t be trying to fix my phone here again. It literally cost me a new phone.

Avoid iSmash Bristol for Google Repairs! Absolutely awful experience with iSmash (72 Broadmead, Bristol) for a repair on my Google Pixel 8. My phone had a microphone issue, and since it was under warranty, Google directed me to iSmash as an authorized repair provider. First visit – They used compressed air to clean the mic and told me to switch from an eSIM to a physical SIM, which I had to pay £10 for, despite my phone being under warranty. Issue remained. Second visit – After struggling to get hold of them (they barely answer calls and rush you off the phone when they do), they claimed the motherboard needed replacing and told me to drop the phone off. Third visit – Collected my phone after five days, only to find nothing had changed—the mic is still faulty! On top of that, they factory reset my phone without informing me, causing me to lose personal and irreplaceable photos. To make matters worse, I wasted time and money traveling 17 miles each way, three times, plus paying £9 per trip in city charges and £5 each time for parking—all for a repair that did absolutely nothing! iSmash's customer service is terrible—they never communicate properly, don’t answer the phone, and clearly don’t care about their customers. I expected better from a company Google trusts with repairs. Avoid at all costs! Update: Sent my Google phone through the mail to Poland! Within 4 days I have received my fully working new phone back :) I was concerned at first sending my phone away for repairs, though it was an easy process, a lot easier than my dealings with this company.

Great service and fixed my Google pixel 9 for a really reasonable price in an hour when other shops either didn't want to fix it or were charging crazy prices. I would thoroughly recommend iSmash. I now have a nice new screen once again 😃

Gautam and Saad were brilliant. I was going to send the device away through the post but decided to drop by and see what they could do. They repairs my broken iPad screen within 15-20 minutes. Top blokes and great speedy service. Thanks!
