If you want a family owned and run company who excel in customer service and where you feel like family than look no further than Irvine Real Estate!! No others will be able to compare!

It’s not all bad with these guys, but yeah… there’s some major issues. Firstly, Mary Beth (the landlord, who is by all accounts pretty nice) has a daughter named Marlene who is so absolutely rude and awful to customers. Spoke to her on the phone for maybe a minute and was promptly yelled at for calling the phone number that comes up on Google. She’s terrible. On top of this, Mary Beth was very quick to cast blame on US for broken utilities or issues on the property that were clearly not our fault. One plumber came to fix our pipes and ensured us that the problem was that they were old… Mary Beth did not believe us or him. My biggest issue however is how they handled our deposit. Pretty soon into moving in, we were clearly “too messy” for Mary Beth. She would complain often that we didn’t have the house in a constant state of cleanliness. We were never disgusting, but when you show up unannounced to a tenant’s house… uh, yeah, it’s not gonna be pristine. At the end of our stay, she gave us a long list (like 20 things?) that we needed to do to ensure our deposit. Ridiculous and tedious things such as wiping each individual blind in each individual window… we got FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS out of our TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLAR deposit back… Disgusting. Especially considering the HOURS of effort we put into this. Avoid renting from these people at all costs. They are unfair, unpleasant people.
