Been coming here for some years now. Sarah at the front is the best but everyone here is really friendly. I’m SUPER introverted and have RBF so I’ve only made a handful of friends through requesting a spot or to work in with someone, but it’s not uncommon to see everyone at the gym interact with each other - super friendly and welcoming environment. Looks like a hardcore scary gym but absolutely anyone and everyone is welcome here and will most likely make friends unless you’re anti social like me lol.

Was in Bloomington for a week. My friend and I needed a gym, we joined iron pit, which was reasonably priced for a week long membership. The staff were beyond polite and pleasant to speak to. The gym and equipment was well kept / clean and everything was in working condition. Overall we had a beyond great experience here. I would 100% recommend it to anyone.

I cannot recommend this gym highly enough. I love "The Pit". I will be a long-term member of this gym. They have anything and everything.

Best gym in Bloomington hands down. I've been a member for 5 years and also joined some other gyms at the same time. None hold a candle to the pit. Great community atmosphere and I've met some good friends through it! My only request would be a posing room. :)
