I have no idea if the fresh sugarcane juice outside the store is part of Iqbal foods or its a separate business. The guy was nice made us fresh juice with ginger and black salt. It tastes good especially in the heat of this summer of 2025.

In September I bought Haldliram’s Snack packs which where on sale for $1 I bought 4 packs of Boondi,3 packs of Sev and 1 pack of Moong Dal I had a get together at my place in 1st week of Oct When I opened the Sev pack it was tasting weird ( like it’s spoiled) The expiry on the pack was Oct 2025 I did not open the rest of the packs and took all the packs to Iqbal I spoke to a Gentleman in Customer Service and explained the issue He did not even look at me or the packs He just said if it’s more than one month It cannot be taken back I actually didn’t want to return it I just wanted to exchange it This guy was not even listening to me and avoided eye contact I told him that it’s spoiled He didn’t care I asked him for garbage and just dumped all the packs in garbage My Learnings from the experience 1. Every things that’s on so called SALE in a sealed pack may be spoiled , Stale and may not be safe for consumption 2. When a Sale item is taken for billing, the sale price may or may not reflect ( system glitch) or the cashier may use a different SKU number 3. If you have a shopping cart full of groceries, you will not pay attention to every line item, Hence end up paying full price for a merchandise which is on sale 4.I have also noticed in the meat section usually there is long wait especially on weekends. There ticket numbers that appear on the board is at least 3 or 4 numbers behind the number being served They don’t update the board. They usually under staffed in meat section and I have also noticed out of turn service just because it’s a know person Attitude of the Customer Service Gentleman was very disrespectful and disappointing

Don’t expect service at the meat counter. Ordered veal with bone, picked a piece that was 5.83LB. asked for it to be cut in cubes, to keep the fat and no trimming done at all. Waited 15 mins and got a bag and asked the guy to weigh it, it came back as 5 LB on the dot. When I asked why that is the guy said. This is the weight after the “cleaning” whatever that means. I just took the bag and paid and walked out. This has happened to me 5-6 times already at this location. If this happens once or twice I can over look it as mistake as they are busy and mistakes can happen but when it happens this many time then it is done purposefully which is extremely unethical or the employees are careless. Either way it’s not a good look. Today was the last straw for me even though I live walking distance from this location I will never come back to this place and will make sure to tell everyone I know who buys meat here what you guys are doing. Very disappointing.

Been there few times and it’s a decent place for South Asian groceries. It’s not a huge store but they have done their best to get everything us shoppers need. Took few photos and videos, take a look. Only complaint is the parking, it’s not that great to get in and out.
