Did the one week board and train program for our 10 month old cavapoo. He has some reactivity issues with large dogs. We totally understood that one week wasn’t going to create a profound impact in our dog, but we were traveling and wanted him to have a good schedule / learn a few more skills while we were away. The trainers here are awesome! We specifically worked with Rebecca and our dog loved her so much. They are so particular about every dogs’ needs, requirements, issues etc and really care about every dog they take in. They taught our dog (and us) some useful skills and we will definitely be using them in the future.

We've been bringing our dog to Instinct for boarding for a few years - he's a sensitive boy with bite history - and we trust the team at Instinct to take good care of him. We love the Camper updates when we're away, too! Attached is a favorite from one of those updates. We also got some great training from home with them! We're in Brooklyn so getting to Harlem for training was not really an option. Our boy is also territorial and bringing trainers into our home has not gone great. Working with Sam over video chat was super helpful - she gave us great activities and strategies to curb his anxieties and trigger points in the home. It's been a few months now and we're still regularly following many of these practices to great success! Thanks so much, Instinct team!

We had a great experience working with Mari Skoultchi at Instinct Training. We did the Home School program, during which Mari taught my reactive dachshund strategies to calm down faster when someone rings the doorbell or enters the home. She also helped him to become more comfortable in his crate and to see it as a safe space. I am also now better equipped to manage my dog's behavior and reinforce the training she has accomplished.
