My husband and I stayed at the Newport Harbor And marina hotel for our 30th anniversary. We treated ourselves to a 90 minute couples massage. Our therapists , Melanie and Savaughnna came to our room. They set up quickly and adjusted to the tight quarters. They both were extremely professional. And the massages were out of this world. I would highly recommend treating your self while in town.

So thrilled to have found my way to Legacy Spa at the East Island Reserve. I had a Signature Swedish 90 minute massage with Melanie and it was fantastic. She relieved so much tension in my neck and shoulders, and I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend this spot. Update: Just had another massage with Melanie and it was incredible. I love this hidden gem!

Wow, JUST WOW. My BFF and I went on a once in a lifetime 10-day vacation to Boston and the surrounding areas. One of our stays was in Newport Beach, where we stayed at the lovely Newport Beach Hotel (the staff at the Newport Beach Hotel were fantastic). While there, we indulged in massages with Jen, who did my massage, and Melanie, who did my bff's massage. Both of us have had many massages during our lifetime, BUT to say these massages were particularly special and the best we've ever had seems like an understatement. My bff and I talked about how positive this amazing experience was constantly during the rest of our vacation. (FYI, my bff gave me permission to include her experience in this post.) About our massage experience: Jen and Melanie asked us questions before they started to ensure they included our specific preferences, likes and dislikes and, to ensure they didn't do anything we did not want. The room was set at the perfect temperature, and, the massage tables also had the perfect amount of warmth when we got on them. The lights were slightly dimmed, and the room smelled beautiful with the slightest hint of citrusy essential oil whilst the ambiance was soft and soothing. When they started the actual massage, they quietly asked about how the pressure was after a moment or so into the massage and adjusted to each of our preferences. They were quiet and didn't talk unless they needed to ask a pertinent question, and, even then, they spoke quietly. Both Jen and Melanie gave us every second of our 90-minute massages. No stopping to adjust things or handle something other than us and our massages. Their focus was 100% on us and OUR experience! When it was over, they quietly let us know and gave us all the time needed to get reoriented, up, and dressed. From beginning to end, these were by far the best massages both of us have ever had. Thank you so much, Jen and Melanie! We are very grateful for the wonderful, relaxing, recharging, and peaceful experience. If we are ever fortunate enough to get back to the east coast Newport Beach area, we would put getting massages by Jen and Melanie as the first and last thing on our 'to-do' list. We highly recommend both of these lovely young women as best-in-class masseurs to everyone and anyone looking for a truly special mental and physical massage experience! I had a 90 min. combo Swedish/deep tissue massage this morning with Maria, first let me say it was the best massage of my Life and I’ve had A LOT of massages in my life. She has just the right amount of pressure, worked every muscle from head to toe, concentrating on my mid and lower back as I requested. The room was clean, without aroma( I have sensitivities) and I asked her to use almond oil, she granted. Just amazing, wished she lived near me in NJ!!! Ahh, so good, absolute bliss🙏 Thank you Maria, will look for you next time I visit East Island Reserve Hotel.
