Writing this review to say a big thank you to one of the ladies who helped me to choose hair products. I went home with some fantastic products from their house line (Inhairitance CurlCare) and really appreciate the knowledgeable advice, and the kind and thorough product tutorial. Definitely recommend!

I had an appointment at 2:30pm and they made me wait 45min before someone paid attention to me. The hairdresser that did my hair was doing (at least) another girl's hair at the same time as me, which meant I had to wait around for way longer than I should have. It took 3.30h to do a protein treatment + ends cut. 80% of that time was me getting fried under the dryer. They started actually cutting my hair at 5:45 (closing time is 6pm). My hair is not even that complicated, I have had more complex things done to it that took way less time... I hadn't cut my hair in over 2 years because I don't trust anyone with it. I did a consultation with them and loved it, which is why I decided to book an appointment. I was so excited to get my hair cut and styled, but I can't say I left the salon pleased. The hairdresser picked up my hair strand by strand and cut the ends of it, without caring if one strand of hair was longer than the other, so my hair ended up looking uneven. Feels like something I could have done at home myself, to be honest. I think they only care about cashing in as much money as possible, thus overbooking, instead of actually providing a good service. The random hairdresser of my small town in Spain, who doesn't claim to be a "curl expert", does a better job than this, and for only 30€ instead of 150$. Waste of time and money.

I wanted to book another appointment after a year, only to find out that the already expensive price for a trim has increased? My first experience wasn’t even ideal (they were late and the cut was sloppy), but coming from people who are supposed to care, seeing them take advantage of their monopoly—since many salons refuse to learn how to work with our hair—is honestly disappointing. And if someone wants to call me broke, I don't mind. This is getting ridiculous. $100 before tax for a trim? That’s insane.

I purchased a product that was recommended to me during a curl consult. The product is called mistify and is meant to refresh curls between washes. Despite following the directions on the product it’s made my hair feel sticky and look frizzy. I didn’t get to try this product before purchasing but it was recommended to me so I trusted it would be ok. After calling they have informed me that there is no refund or return policy if the product is open…so I have no option to get my money back for a product (which is not cheap mind you) that I’m completely dissatisfied with and will not use. Waste of money.
