We worked with Oscar on the renovation of a farmhouse across the last year, which ended in a two-storey rear extension to the main building and an extension to an outbuilding. Despite a radical change to the scope of the project during the construction, he provided reassuring counsel, offering practical courses of action and was helpful in liaising with both local authorities for planning approval and contractors during the construction phase. He was thorough and clear with explanation at each stage and put up with our relative ignorance, but never came across as patronising. His ability to balance practicality with creative design has transformed our home into a space that feels both functional for a young family whilst respecting the building's heritage.
