Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh

Fast, fresh and friendly. The young man cooking asked me what I was looking for but they were out of breakfast burritos so he offered to make me one. It was very good and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised. As I waited, I heard him greet several regulars by name. Very friendly crew. 8/29 @ 7:10 AM

Usually when I go here all the time the gas attendants are super friendly and always say hello. This time when I went today on 5/16 around 440 the young lady was not very attentive and didn’t say hi or thank you have a good day and I had to ask for my receipt and wasn’t offered one like usual. Right when I walked in she was just on her phone doing whatever. Like I get it you can be bored at work but when people are in the station don’t be on your phone and acknowledge customers coming in and leaving the establishment.

Shameful. Passing thru Iowa and stopped for fuel, never having been to a Hy-Vee before. The price was reasonable, or so I thought. I wonder how many unsuspecting customers they have ripped off with 2 different prices of 87 octane, with one simply saying unleaded, and the other super unleaded. The catch? The regular unleaded was 55 cents more than the super unleaded! Boy I wish I had payed attention to the price rather than the labels. This should be illegal.
