We've stayed here for the 3rd year during the fair as we are vendors at the fair. Its definitely a rustic place but it suits our needs well and is priced right. This room that I have this year I feel like the king bed at the back of the room is on a slant. Feels like it puts a lot of pressure on my spine and the floor is rounded or lumpy there too, but otherwise we are always happy

This was a super cute motel with lots of amenities. Our room was 'cozy,' but the outdoor spaces made up for it. There is a green space with outdoor games/grilles/firepits, a pool, game deck, and the chill Block Party Retro Pub. There was live music both nights we were there and the drinks and dessert were amazing! ||My only complaint is that the room was a bit dark and sheer curtains would've been nice.

We brought our whole family to the lakes for the July 4th. Staying at Vintage Block was the best decision we made! The rooms were terrific and had everything we needed. We were traveling with an infant and they set us all up with a portable crib that was perfect. You can’t beat this location — so close to Arnold’s Park and walkable to lots of eating/drinking/parks for the kids. The Block Party restaurant/bar has a great vibe and amazing cocktails. Highly recommend for your next trip to Okoboji, the most special place on earth. Thanks, Misty!

I am very impressed with this motel! It really is nice. You don't find them like this hardly ever. Reasonably priced for the area as well. It has a lot of added unique touches that make it clear the owner really cares about this place, from the cool lights above the doors to the really neat old style telephones, etc. Very very clean and well kept throughout.
