Customer experiences
I booked the hotel after seeing the pictures, but I was charged an additional booking fee of 500 Rs, which I was not informed about beforehand. Before checking out, a friend came to my room to help me pack, which only took about five minutes. When I returned to the front desk, I was told that I needed to pay an extra 1000 Rs as an additional person charge, citing a rule implemented by the inspector of Madiwala. After a lengthy discussion, they agreed to reduce the charge to 500 Rs. However, we were unable to contest this, as they were already holding 500 Rs of ours as a booking charge.||This feels like a scam at this hotel. Before booking, I advise checking if the room matches what you see in the pictures, as it was poorly cleaned. It seems they are always looking for ways to charge an extra 500 Rs.
The team was supportive in guiding us to make the visit more fruitful. Would be great if the room service/cleaning is there on a daily basis. Apart from that it's a really good and affordable place to stay in Madiwala.
Excellent stay|Good, clean and safe for family, not too big room, but worth of money. We came to Bangalore looking for PG for my daughter. Hotel staffs were good and polite they helped us with area details and good 👍
I had an extremely disappointing stay at Olivia Suites and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. First, the condition of the room was unacceptable. There was a constant foul smell, visible seepage on the walls, and the toilet was in a terrible state—unclean and poorly maintained. The shower didn’t work at all, which was incredibly inconvenient after a long journey. To make matters worse, the front desk experience was horrible. I had traveled the entire night and arrived at the hotel just 15 minutes before the official check-in time. Despite rooms being available, the person at the reception—who claimed his name was Abdul—refused to let me check in early. What shocked me more was his rude and arrogant behavior. Instead of showing any empathy, he dismissively said, “You will check in at 8 only,” with a condescending tone. Frankly, I’m not even sure if that was his real name, but I have taken a photo of him to ensure proper identification. Customer service is clearly not a priority at Olivia Suites, and the overall condition of the facility leaves a lot to be desired. This experience was frustrating and far from what any guest should have to deal with. Would not recommend.
Hotel Metro Grand is a hotel.
