We enjoyed Abagail’s last year 2024 and decided to come back in 2025. I was initially disappointed that the main house was unavailable for 5 nights and quickly fell in love with the coach house. The breakfast was as delicious as we remembered with a selection of sweet or savory mains. Included fresh juices/fruit baked goods and superb attentive wait staff. The room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. One of the highlights for me was observing the camaraderie of the dining room staff. They all appear to love the service they provide and made the breakfast special. Interesting to note that many of the staff are the same as last year which indicates to me work satisfaction and ||being treated fairly. Thanks for the 5 star experience.

Abigail's is an absolute gem! Everything about my stay was wonderful. The hotel itself is a beautiful tudor "home", nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a short distance from downtown. The grounds are lush and the overall environment is lovely and peaceful. The staff are marvelous. Everyone is very friendly, from the front desk staff to the waitstaff in the restaurant. My room was large, open, airy and filled with sunshine. I took advantage of the soaker tub which was an excellent idea! The bed was comfortable, linens were high quality, and the ambiance was rich. The three-course breakfast the next morning, which is included in the room fee, was plentiful and delicious. I chose the "savory" breakfast of poached eggs, avocado toast with balsamic reduction. Yum! Over the years, I've stayed in several different hotels and AirBNB's in and around Victoria. They all pale in comparison to Abigail's Hotel. I will be back again and again. Highly, highly recommend!

Great location and super friendly staff, but the best thing about Abigail's Hotel is the gourmet breakfast. Each morning we couldn't wait to sit down to enjoy delicious food and to be treated like royalty by the attentive wait staff. The scones (both the savory ones and the sweet ones) were fantastic! Then, at 4:30 in the afternoon, a nice snack was available. Sometimes soup, sometimes meats and cheese, always tasty. We also loved our room -- the Orchid Room. The bed (especially the sheets) was over-the-top comfy, and the bathroom was quite roomy. We could even see mountains in the distance through our bedroom and bathroom windows. We didn't even mind climbing the three flights of stairs to get there. In fact, we came to love the daily challenge. We definitely would stay again if we return to Victoria.

My husband and I stayed at Abigail's for two nights before heading to Uclulet and I highly recommend this hotel. It has a beautiful Victorian style to it, both inside and out. The service is impeccable, and the staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and the rooms have everything you need for your stay. It is a very close walk to the harbor (15 minutes), Chinatown and close to Beacon Hill Park. So the location was perfect for us. And their breakfasts, which are included in the price, are FANTASTIC ! So much delicious and healthy food and a great way to start your day. The only warning I would have for you is that there are only stairs (no elevator) to get to your rooms so if you have mobility issues it isn't easing taking heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs. But other than that, LOVED this place.
