I had a very pleasant experience with Kinghams. My car had a long crack in the front windscreen, and Keith did his best to help me order the replacement part and organised everything smoothly. Although there was a delay with the manufacturer’s shipment, Keith scheduled the installation as soon as the part arrived. The car was returned to me in a shiny, spotless condition. I really appreciate the excellent service from Kinghams.

I took my 2013 RR sport to Kjnghams for a check up and an MOT. They agreed to take my car at short notice which was a pleasant surprise as i had a travel deadline with the car, which i trustingly told them. Unfortunately thats where the good experienve ended. They failed my car and told me that i had to replace my suspension arms, and then quoted me £100 more than a local RR dealer to do the work. I was quoted 1400 to do this work, and when my final bill arrived it was £2400 because the car was "rusty". Something they could surely see before the work started, and something common to pretty much every car on the road in the UK. Even after this massive over charge they wanted £175 to do my alignment. The location is in the heart of Croydon. I am sure these folks were once an excellent independent garage, and the owner seemed a thoroughly decent man, but I will NEVER use them again. I always look for local independents to support and have had many great ezperiences in the past. This was not one of them. Time pressure prevented me from waiting for a dealer appointment.

I went to this garage because my idling was a bit rough. After hours and hours of diagnostics at an extortionate price per hour, they decided I had to have a mass airflow meter changed and a gasket neither turbo changed. If they would have taken the engine cover off, they would have seen the oil coming out of the Turbo gasket, which wouldn't have taken long as it's up high in the engine.But instead they decided to do loads of hours of diagnostics which worked out an extortionate price of over £2000. I contacted the cars manufacturer, and they said they would have charged much, much less. I found the owner very tricky. Real Bad Experience !!!
