Amazing hotel and the Bar Two 88 has a lovely, chilled vibe. I popped in with a friend of mine, enjoying a charcuterie board. They had a special with mulled wine, cheese, and cured meats. I grew up eating cured meats that my dad made, so when I tried theirs, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat! Paired with the cheese and a subtle mulled wine, I was one happy woman. The menu has a variety of cocktails and other items too. As a foodie, I naturally had to sample the blue swimmer crab and coriander ravioli. The coriander was subtle, and the dish was beautifully complemented with capers. It gave it a fresh burst of flavour. If you’re peckish and are not sure what to order, the teriyaki glazed chicken skewers hit the spot! Easy to eat while you have a cocktail in the other hand! You can’t go wrong with an espresso martini or the passion fruit mojito.

Their cocktail paired with Spanish ham is absolutely amazing! A sip of delicious whiskey followed by a bite of the rich, fatty ham—it’s perfect! Plus, they have $12 cocktails during happy hour. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable.
