If I could leave a review with 0 stars, I would. It would take me hours to explain my horrific experience with Rena Cannon. Rented from her for years and never EVER missed a rent payment or paid late. I saw someone say it takes her 3-5 business days to respond. That, I could have lived with but any time I asked the wrong question about repairs I was basically begging her to tend to at the property, she would not respond and went up to MONTHS with no word from her until I, the tenant, reached out again. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy rent from her and if I was looking for a property manager, I’d pay more and get somebody else to do it. The repairs the place needed weren’t minor cosmetic issues, these were MAJOR and many things I ended up fixing on my own with no rent adjustment because when I’d ask to do that, it was a no. I asked to pay more in rent to help cover repairs, and it was a NO. I could tell she had never been to the place I was renting from her based on the conversations we’ve had and I never met her in person which is odd but I’m like, hey.. times are different. The day I moved in, I cried because the place was soooo filthy and I had to clean it as quick as possible before my furniture arrived. Her then maintenance man told me that he was instructed to paint over dirt and commended me at how clean I had the place when he delivered the new microwave my first week in. He stated that the house was absolutely nasty. She didn’t know the house needed gas turned on for the heat to work and we froze in there with space heaters. She sent someone to look at it and they said the gas just wasn’t on. She stated she didn’t even know it needed gas and stated she’d adjust the rent for that.. never did.. that was just the beginning… up to the end when repairs from a hurricane in 2024 hadn’t even been LOOKED at mid 2025.. It was all a joke from start to finish but I thank God my parents raised me to keep calm, remain progressively, keep a paper trail, pray, and trust God. But I came here to say, just DON’T!!!

Put their hands on my car and windshield blades to put a flier. It then rained and the paper shredded all over my windshield. It was a flier for Allen Rouse. Do not recommend since they lack respect of my private property in front of my home. DO NOT TOUCH MY PROPERTY.

I’m a current tenant since 2020 that Rena with Home Finders Realty has been very helpful with any maintenance response and considerate when it came to me paying my rent. I have enjoyed having her and Home Finders Realty as my Landlord. Thank you Rena’
