I decided to go for a motorcycle ride through the white Shell and landed at the Hi Point restaurant and bar at Westhawk lake. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful ride that was capped off by great service and excellent food at this venue. They have only two taps on offer, but one of them was the 1919 draft which is quite tasty. As an aside, it would be nice if they had more taps because this place has great ambiance that screams for more draft on tap as well as a few more TVs for sporting events. Back to the review, my server ( hey Mataya) was excellent. She did not hover around me, but seemed to have a well timed approach that wasn’t suffocating, but was appreciated. I ordered a mere tuna melt on garlic toast, and it turned out to be very good. Surprising because it is a very basic dish. I sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance of the log cabin look of the facility. It was nice and quiet and a very welcoming experience. How’s the weather turns colder the inside is just as welcoming with a continuation of the log cabin feel. It’s a nice escape with reasonable pricing and good service. I would definitely go there again.

Dropped in for a bite after a long day out on the lake. I tried the spicy local burger and Poutine. The burger was delicious. It was cooked perfect, juicy, all the toppings were balanced, and the Jalapeno was not too spicy (pickled). The Poutine was also good with home fries. I was happy to see how many gluten free options there were here (rare outside of cities). The pricing was also not bad at all for a beach area. The waitress forgot to put our order in (we waited around 50 minutes for our food) and acted a little pouty toward us afterwards. But other than that, I would stop here again when in the area.

The Pickeral dinner was absolutely delicious. It is the right amount of saltiness in the batter with the right amount of butter. 100% they nailed it here. Server was very friendly. This seems to be a popular place as has a lot of people coming and going. Will dine here again.

Wonderful experience. Fast service. Served the children first which we love. Amazing food. Sat on the patio, which welcomed our dog. Would highly recommend.
