Broke my condo mailbox key in half. Called Devon Hardware store and the staff said they can give a try, but nothing guaranteed. Went into the store today and the two gentleman at the key department were very nice and helpful. Explained the price and how the process work. If the new key doesn’t work, he said bring it back and try other possible ways. If nothing work, I can even get a refund. What a great service team. I’m so glad we have this employee owned store in the neighborhood. New key works perfectly! Save me hundred bucks to change the lock and hassles. Thank you very much!

This is one of those genuine hardware stores that is aware of housing stock around it and stock it accordingly. I can count numerous bizzare repairs i've needed to make in my all original 100+ year old home and I've been able to find what I need here and only here - plus knowledgeable associates that can walk you through it and can identify just about anything you show them. From various radiators parts, spud wrenches, valves to having all the parts and tools to rebuild the leaking elbow on our wall mounted toilet. I've been able to find it all at Clark & Devon. Plus this has hands the coolest sign i've ever seen for a hardware store.

I have been a customer here since 2010 and I keep coming back even though I live further away. I buy a decent amount of hand tools here and have bought a few power tools. I tend to buy name brand stuff but they also have budget tools that could do the job. The hardware section is outstanding, especially if you need a small quantity or are looking for a non-standard piece. They cater to a lot of in house trades people and custodial types so you will find all property maintenance gear at the store. Yes, some staff can be "rude" at times but it's a very stressful environment and everyone wants everything at the same time. Have a little patience with the staff and do your research before coming in, you might have a better shopping experience. Regarding folks who say that they would rather shop at HD or Lowe's: that is also fine. Good luck finding help at those big box stores. Clark Devon has a lot of old timers who are legends and know their respective trades very well. To the younger staff: learn everything you can from the older generation so the store can continue to thrive.

This place is awesome. Great selection and knowledgeable employees. The company doesn’t own the lot. That’s why you have to pay to park there. So don’t be a moron and park there after business hours, or you will probably get towed. Regardless of what community you belong to!
