Customer experiences
We had such a great experience at this dental office from start to finish! The receptionist was so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home as soon as we walked in. My son’s dental hygienist was amazing—so patient, gentle, and kind. He absolutely adored her and was so excited about the treasure box! The dentist was also wonderful—professional, friendly, and great at explaining everything clearly. You can really tell that everyone here truly cares about their patients. We’re so thankful to have found such a kind and caring team. Highly recommend!
Dr. Lu did a great job pulling a bad tooth. He was friendly and gave a play by play of what was happening as the extraction progressed. He kept any pain to a minimum. His assistant was also very nice and helpful. Yes I would recommend him if you needed a dentist. Thanks Dr. Lu
Our family has been coming here for many years...always a great experience. Dr's and staff are wonderful. And now they direct bill both of our insurance carriers.
The New Patient Experience at Jameison Dental If you're thinking of becoming a new patient at Jameison Dental, let me walk you through what to expect based on my first visit. When you arrive, don't expect to be whisked away to the dental chair. The first thing you'll do is sit down with a clipboard and what feels like a small novel of paperwork. It’s a four-page, double-sided affair that feels a bit like a throwback to another era. You’ll fill out your health history, of course, but then you’ll also find yourself signing three hefty agreements and answering some questions that feel a bit too personal, like who you and your spouse work for. The whole time, you’ll probably be thinking what I was: "Couldn't this have been an email?" After the paperwork, you're finally brought in for the dental work. The experience felt rushed from the start. A dental hygienist took the X-rays and scans, but seemed half-distracted, at times shouting across the room to coworkers to find things. This didn't exactly inspire confidence and added to a feeling of chaotic, impersonal service. Then came the cleaning, or at least, part of it. Before she began, the hygienist casually informed me that she would only be cleaning the bottom half of my mouth today. To finish the job, I’d have to book a whole separate appointment. This wasn't a surprise discovery; it was their plan from the very beginning. She performed the partial cleaning with the same rushed, distracted energy. Only after all this was done did the dentist make a brief appearance, gave me a quick look, and confirmed everything was healthy. The initial relief of hearing good news was completely overshadowed by the disorganized and incomplete service I'd just received. That’s when the frustration set in. You start to feel that your time isn't a priority. You have to schedule two appointments, take two trips, and rearrange your life twice for something that should have been done in one go. The most disappointing part is that you’re not given a choice. No one asks, "Would you be willing to stay longer to get this all done today?" If they had, I would have said yes in a heartbeat, even if it cost extra. But the decision was made for me. So, what can you expect as a new patient at Jameison Dental? You can expect a basic and rushed experience where the care is nothing to write home about. The whole process feels rigid and inconvenient. You might leave, like I did, feeling that the clinic runs on a schedule that benefits them, not their patients. It’s a shame, and certainly a disappointing way to start a new healthcare relationship. Also expect a follow up message from ChatGPT that glazes over all your concerns by citing their policy and procedure. While note actually addressing your concerns. 1. The forms could have been an email or lectronic intake. I don't need to flip through a dirty clip board in your lobby. 2. If I am a first time patient maybe you should factor that into your scheduling and not just offer 1 hour session as standard. 3. I have never been to a dentist that only cleans half your mouth and then sends you away and has you back weeks later to clean the other half. What is this part time dentistry? Can't take the time to finish the job.
