I'm a car enthusiast who likes to DIY when it comes to maintenance and detailing my cars. I found Griots when searching for top tier compound and polish. Meguiars was always my go to but I wanted something more premium with durability. I love their line of products and how easy they've made it for beginners. I bought the G9 orbital buffer, 5" conversion kit and complete series compound/polish/wax. The YouTube videos are every helpful and detailed. I have to admit it does take a long time doing a complete paint restoration from oxidation and water spots. Wash, clay bar, compound, polish and wax. But you only need to maintain the finish going forward. I was stunned how my wife's Ford Escape came out. Looked like it came fresh off the production line. My WRX only needed a decon, polish and wax since I got it detailed 18 month ago. The outcome was amazing. The blue really pops and feels like a mirror finish. It rained the following day and water just wicks aways. I'm looking forward to trying their glass sealant and ceramic wax.

As a consumer and someone who loves their 4Runner, Griot's garage is an absolute pleasure to work with. From the time I place the order to the actual delivery, they always keep me in the loop. Once the products arrive, they're always well packed and the one time I had a product that did not perform as expected, they refunded my money without any problems. I'm excited to visit the Plainfield, Indiana location if only to pick up pre-ordered product and to get a glimpse - and a selfie - of where the Griot's products are made!

An absolute pleasant experience from start to finish! Like the review above, I too live in Indianapolis and needed to pick my order up ASAP. I was told as well it would be 24hrs before I could pick my products up, but unlike Phil I decided to call the warehouse and ask if there was any way I could pick my products up first thing in the morning. Guess what? I had my my products first thing in the morning.

I usually use Adams and found out that Griots was local so I figured I would try them out and purchase some supplies for a project I am working on. The tech I talked to on the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions and gave me the part numbers and cost for all the product I needed for the vehicle I was working on (about $300). I then tried to order and pay for the items and indicated I would drive across town later in the day to pick them up at their warehouse (A option the offer being that they are local). I was informed that I had to give a minimum of 24 hours notice and being that it is Friday morning It would be Monday afternoon before I would be able to pick the items up. I decided to go back to my Adams product due to I could order them and have them delivered first thing Monday morning and complete the project over the weekend. It is sad when you try and buy local and they make it harder than just ordering off line from a place out of state.
