WOW! I wish they were as quick in their responses to my emails as they are in responding to online reviews. I’m deeply disappointed by my experience with this leasing company. When I toured the unit, I was told the apartment would be cleaned and patched up before move-in. That promise was not honored. The apartment was filthy, with spider webs in nearly every corner, and visible grime in areas that should have been basic move-in ready — including appliances and bathroom fixtures. After my complaint, they said a cleaning crew had already come, but sent another one the next day. That crew admitted they were only hired for a standard 3-hour clean, not a move-in/move-out level job. I had to pay out of pocket to hire professional cleaners who spent 6 hours doing what should have been done before I arrived. The issues didn’t stop there: The dishwasher was non-functional for 3 weeks. The washing machine had visible mold. There was mold in the fridge as well. A wasp nest was found on the building, and I had multiple wasps inside my unit. When they attempted to handle it, they sealed the nest — which is not a safe or lasting solution. The front entrance remains dirty and covered in spider webs, even after multiple complaints. The staff is unprofessional and dismissive — often ignoring requests, failing to communicate, or only responding when pressed repeatedly. When I asked about the mold, I was told: “It’s your responsibility to clean.” I absolutely regret renting with this company.
My roommate and I have been living in our apartment over 7 years now and had been so happy with our space until the owner decided to switch the management from Winnemac to High Fidelity. INSTANTLY Fidelty made ugly useless changes making us the eye sore of the street and these last 8 months we've had repeat issues. They outright told me "that's unfortunate" when I put in a recent service request and refused to fix it. Even though our rent increased by $475/month to support their building a new apartment in the basement, we decided to stick it out since they had promised us an in-unit w/d and ac unit. Both sat in boxes, in my dining room for 2 summer months before they were installed. The loud washer/dryer eliminated our only storage closet and the ac (designed to be a wall unit) was installed above a door in our kitchen. Since the vents point upwards, it just cools the ceiling and gathers sticky dust from the stove. I think we've been forgiving about the constant construction noises, power/water outages and cigarette smoke during this endless build, but the place is an embarrasment and no one is even pretending to clean our common area or tend the landscaping. Renters beware. The owner and his realtor Luis have asked us to show and photograph our unit because the other units were "not as strong". We stopped accommodating them because upstairs neighbors moving out told us that they felt manipulated and lied to about the space they'd be living in. I'm sad our loyalty hasn't earned us more respect.
I do not recommend renting here. After moving out of my unit, management refused to cooperate in removing my name from the lease despite clear proof that I no longer lived there. They knowingly left me legally and financially tied to a property I had no access to, creating ongoing risk for me. In addition, the apartment had unresolved mold issues that were brought to management’s attention but never properly addressed. Communication was poor and unprofessional, with responses often delayed or dismissive. If you value fair treatment, prompt maintenance, and respectful communication, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
We have just moved into one of the older buildings managed my High Fidelty and found several fairly significant issues that needed attention. Michael Rodriguez has been friendly, professional and helpful in getting our situation sorted out as quickly as possible. We know there are other parties and vendors involved for different appliances and situations that he has to maneuver but he has continued to update us and check in on us! Thanks Michael!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
