We went here on a busy night and the atmosphere and service were great though we thought that the food was underwhelming especially for the price. Everything tasted ok and good quality but not enough for us to say, “wow we’re definitely coming back here.” We had the beef tartar and octopus as appetizers and then the gnocchi with lobster and stringozzi with lamb sugo. We haven’t had beef tartar in the past and thought it was ok. Octopus was our favorite but small. Gnocchi with lobster had very soft gnocchi and some lobster pieces but I felt like I was eating tomato soup and was a little disappointed. Stringozzi with lamb had better taste and texture than the gnocchi.

Excellent new american cuisine in the hot restaurant district downtown. Don't miss an opportunity to visit if you are in town. Melting pot of people types food influences. The drink menu was well above many of the fancy pants places, imo, the martinesque was de-lish. The special small plate with the toasted/fried bread w/prosciutto de Parma and the cheese plate was great. Good variety of cheeses, from earthy to a bright gorgonzola. The main dishes were outstanding. The tagliatelle with foie gras meatballs was ab-fab, but the stringozzi w/lamb sugo was the star! The richness of both dishes were perfect, but the balance of savory and bright of the sugo was heavenly. The tres leches dessert was a great closure. The cake wasn't soaked just perfectly and the leches sauce was just the right sweet and milky richness. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our main wait person was knowledgeable, but a little light on the details of the dishes. Still very good service. There when you need but not interfering with the meal. Pretty much street parking or garages. Typical downtown. Definitely will want a reservation.

112 has been a go to for date night for my hubby and I for the past decade and it never disappoints. Every dish has its own journey of flavors and textures - we gave yet to try something we haven't loved. The red walnut pesto is a new favorite. The staff is friendly and so knowledgeable, and the drinks are top shelf.

112 is squeezed in but opens up inside to be a cozy dining place. We had dinner in the backroom of the 2nd floor and even had a window to look out on some rooftops of Minneapolis. The food was incredible! We started with the burrata toast which was a great appetizer but would have just enough sweetness to be a gentle dessert too. For main dishes I got the stringozzi with lamb sugo and it was delightful. My wife got the candele which had a great Pesto sauce with slow heat. For dessert we shared the butterscotch budino and it was creamy and delicious. Highly recommend this spot if you're even considering it a little bit!
