Customer experiences
Always get excellent service at this pharmacy. Andrew and Jean-Marc are great. There’s also really great items in the pharmacy that you wouldn’t find in other pharmacies. The owners put a lot of thought into these items.
I’m so grateful to Harrisville Pharmacy as we were able to get a prompt appointment and have my daughter tested for a strep. I am willing to pay the $70 versus waiting elsewhere (ER or walk in clinic the next day). We waited 5 minutes for the results and got our meds right there. The pharmacist, whose name I can’t remember (Jean Marc or Jean Pierre?), was friendly and informative.
I cannot reccomend Harrisville Pharmacy enough! Not only are they my pharmacy for all of my regular medication needs, I also had a fabulous experience with Erin when shopping for a leg splint. Not only was she very knowledable about the product I needed, she took the time to ensure it was the right one that fit my needs.
I understand that people are busy and especially those in healthcare are stretched thin, but come on. My granddaughter was swabbed for strep at a walk-in clinic that’s now closed for 3 days due to a doctor shortage and unable to access results. I called Harrisville Pharmacy as they do the testing and diagnosing of strep for around $65. They couldn’t do it today, and that’s fine. I was told the pharmacist “can’t” check results from the clinic but later learned they could, they just chose not to. Their reasoning was they didn’t want to take my granddaughter’s case on. We didn’t expect to have her case taken, we simply needed the results. A 30 second check of results vs how ever many hours for a child sick with strep throat to sit in emerg that’s already been tested. Thankfully, most pharmacists in NB will soon have the equipment to administer and diagnose strep throat. I found this out from another pharmacist who not only took a very quick moment to explain this, offered to check the results from the walk-in clinic! If Harrisville Pharmacy is just too busy and overworked, please consider passing the equipment on to a pharmacy that has the capacity and means to help patients.
Harrisville Pharmacy is a pharmacy.
