I have to be very mindful of my budget before deciding to walk into Hard Times because it’s inevitable that I will find something that I *need* to take home with me. The curation of the store is fun and casual, it doesn’t feel like a time capsule where you’ll walk out with a cosplay of another decade. I have found so many pieces that slot in seamlessly with clothes that I’ve bought new in order to add just a bit of personality to an otherwise simple outfit. I love this store, it’s easily one of the best vintage places in town and the pricing is SO. INCREDIBLY. FAIR. Anyway if you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on a local gem. I’ve added photos of outfits I’ve put together with pieces discovered at hard times: the denim skirt, the fuschia skirt, embroidered jeans, loose linen pants, Peter Pan collar, and the denim vest/tank.

Wonderful staff, wonderful selection, and very great prices! Too often do I find places that have out-of-touch pricing for their selection, but not here. And the sizing is wonderful. I also always swing by to restock on my nail stickers <3

Great local shop! The colab with Cry Baby is everything and this is a great unique place to shop. The owner is great and super friendly. She even does great freelance photography at the shop and makes the whole experience fun and inviting. Must visit!

I love this shop. it’s so wonderfully unique, the vibes are chill, and the owner, Chaella, is really cool. The prices are very reasonable and I’ve found some excellent pieces here. Shop local, friends!
