From entering the restaurant to leaving the whole experience was 1st class. Matt our server was attentive, professional & informative without being pushy. The restaurants atmosphere made for a dining pleasure & the class of the place shows when you have Molten & Brown in your toilet. The food was outstanding and the chefs are a credit to you all. Whilst we were served by Matt, Tom was also busy with various other customer’s whom all appeared to be happy with everything like us. We would highly recommend a visit & I am sure you’ll return as will we. You just need to bring one to Nottingham.

Steak was great, medium rare was done just right! The atmosphere was spot on as well :-) Grace was attentive and always ensured we were well attended to. Perhaps it was the dinner crowd, thus our order was taken a tad late and food was served not as quickly as we thought it would be. Nonetheless, great place to enjoy a good dinner in Bristol!

Couldn’t recommend the Cow & Sow more. Our waitress Kayla was amazing, supper attentive and made our anniversary celebrations even more special. I’d highly recommend the burnt ends, bone marrow and the hispi cabbage. The Heaphy savvy b complimented our meal perfectly well. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want some delicious food, come to the cow & sow.

I went there to have their express lunch menu of steak and chips. The portion of the steak is comedically small, with big chips to compensate. Burnt ends were great although they could have given more of the accompanying sauce. The bone marrow was a bit underwhelming; not a lot of marrow in the whole bone, and the caremalised onions were the dominant flavour and ingredient of the dish. The blooming onions were crisp and sweet, if not a bit bitter on some burnt ends, and very greasy all over. The black garlic aioli is amazing as a dipping sauce for both the onion and chips. The salted caramel tart was underwhelming; the tart was very thick and viscous, and the salty flavour is more prominent than the sweet caramel. Luckily the ice cream was the right amount of sweetness to cover the dish. Incredibly pricey for the quantity and quality of food provided. Charging £5 for an additional sauce for the steak is absurd for the amount provided for both steak and chips. Staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating. The wait staff are probably among the most well trained that I've seen in establishments throughout Bristol.
