The service was exactly what it said it was but took longer than expected and I found the booking process slightly difficult. I booked a wheel alignment for the car and arranged a 10:30am appointment and the website says it takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. The manager of the branch advised me that due to staffing or other bookings it could take 2-3 hours, which in the way he explained it was fine but the website needs updating then because it’s clearly two different things and I assumed the whole point of booking the car for a certain time slot was so that the staff are available at that time, to complete the work. Maybe I’m wrong? Nevertheless the staff were polite and friendly and explained the work that needed doing to my vehicle a once finished, what they’d done. I got a call later to come and collect it and I was happy with the value for money. There was someone blasting out loud music on their phone in the lobby and being anti-social so I was glad to see Halfords staff challenge this when I was trying to discuss the work on the car. I’d definitely visit this location again as it does exactly what you need but could take longer than expected so I’ll make sure to factor this in next time. The car park had spaces for my vehicle upon arrival and it was easy to find.

Ive been going to this Halfords for years as never felt like they were pushing for unnecessary extra add ons to the service. But seems to have changed the last couple of years. Last year I was told I would need new break pads before my next MOT... so i booked in and had them replaced. This year (10 months later) I have been told I need new break discs... which mean changing the break pads again! Why did this not get picked up last year if they are just going to make me pay twice.. less than a year later. He said "it might not have been bad enough last year"... but how bad can the wear be in a year on the disc... that this wasn't picked up KNOWING I would need to change thr pads so soon. Really bad management of people's finances In a time you should be supporting your customers... not doubling up on unnecessary work. As i now need to replace my NEW pads... with new pads. A waste of money.

I visited Halfords Romford to get a tyre fixed and I’m really happy with the service I received. Scott and his team were professional, friendly, and very efficient. They explained everything clearly and got the job done quickly, which I really appreciated. Excellent customer service all round — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this branch.

Amazing service. Took car in for a MOT and service. Failed MOT but the team managed to get it repaired same day even though it was very busy. Stayed open late for me to collect too as I was close by. Very very appreciative of the hard working staff. Thank you!
