I had my car serviced and MOT by DAS Car Repairs. Steve was very friendly and helpful, he managed to resolve a fault that other garages were not able to find or repair. Very reasonably priced. Excellent service, well recommended.

Immensely disappointed. Steve seemed like a genuine nice guy but I feel completely ripped off. I paid £400 in total and was told a part had been removed and cleaned, but that the repair hadn’t worked and would cost thousands to fix. I then went elsewhere for a second opinion, where I was shown that the sensor had never been removed or cleaned. It ultimately cost me £300 to supply and fit a new sensor. I would be very cautious in coming to this garage when it comes to repairs.

Sorry Steve, something suspicious about your operation and we wont be coming back. Two different, but modern cars six months apart, both in for an MOT's and both handed back with the same comment (with no advisories) that you had to put additive into the tank to make it pass on emissions. The garage they are MOT'd with is called '1st 4 Garage Services' who charge £38 for a class 4 MOT (dated 23/04/24) - and you charged us more than double, in cash. A small mark up in price I would have understood but without receipts for the additive, my trust isn't there.

Steve is a great mechanic. Have been taking my car for a few years. Really friendly and honest mechanic. He is very experienced and tries to find practical solutions for the customers.
