Customer experiences
Tried Hakka Chow Kitchener recently and the food was absolutely amazing! The Manchurian balls were perfectly crisp outside and soft inside, tossed in a flavorful tangy sauce that made them addictive. The noodles had that authentic smoky wok taste, not too oily and seasoned just right. The veg platter was a wholesome option with a nice variety—fresh and well-prepared, perfect if you want to try a bit of everything. And the steam momos were the highlight for me—soft, fresh, and filled with perfectly spiced veggies. Overall, the food was flavorful, portions were generous, and it’s definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone craving good Indo-Chinese
Tried the Fuket Fish, Veg Steam Momos, Noodles, and Manchurian Balls at Hakka Chow Kitchener and absolutely loved the experience! The fish was perfectly cooked with a flavorful blend of spices, while the momos were soft, fresh, and packed with delicious stuffing. The noodles were stir-fried just right—light, not greasy, and carrying that authentic Hakka-style flavor. Pairing them with the Manchurian balls was the highlight—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and coated in a rich, tangy sauce. The taste, presentation, and service all made it a wonderful meal. Definitely a must-visit spot for Indo-Chinese lovers!
Hidden Gem for Veg Lovers – A Flavor Explosion at Hakka Chow Kitchener! I recently visited Hakka Chow Kitchener and loved their food. First off, the Mojito Quencher was the perfect refreshing start. Light, minty, and super invigorating. Then came the real stars: the Veg Tandoori Momos. Wow! Smoky, spicy, and packed with flavor. But the surprise steal of the night? The Babycorn Salt and Pepper. Crisp, flavorful, and absolutely addictive—it stole my heart at first bite. Paired perfectly with their classic Veg Manchurian (saucy, spicy, and just the right texture) and Hakka Noodles, which are hands down the best I’ve had in Kitchener-Waterloo. Whether you're a vegetarian or just looking to explore bold, flavorful Asian fusion dishes, Hakka Chow is a must-visit. This place continues to raise the bar for Hakka cuisine in the region. They are offering amazing lunch special deals as well.
Food tasted good, but not great. Not incredibly impressed with the portions for the price. Not sure why they charge $2 more for making the meal without gravy, but regardless, still priced okay. Wait was fairly decent, but the restaurant needs music or something to give an ambiance. It was entirely quiet in the restaurant when my group came to sit down.
Hakka Chow Kitchener is a hakka restaurant.
