Jackie PartridgeFood was mediocre. Portions vary in size. Charged £2 for added chicken to a mushroom pasta dish to find only 3 very small pieces!!! One of the assistant managers took us to our table (3 middle aged ladies) and basically just left us. After waiting for 1/2 hr I had to call someone over. The female server said that she had not been told to serve us!! The male server who brought us our food looked like he was sucking lemons and never cracked a smile during the evening. Our saving grace was the other assistant manager, JAKE, who very kindly brought us some Prosecco to make up for our distress plus it was also my birthday. We know Jake from previous visits and he is a real Star. Such a lovely personable young man who always makes time to talk to us and makes sure we are being properly looked after. He is a real asset to the restaurant in Taunton. Thank you Jake for saving my birthday celebrations 🙏
David CrouchenFirst visit. 6 of us came for lunch. Each of us had a different meal but all were satisfied. I had the Christmas carbonara, basically a normal one but with sprouts !! Service good. Would return if in Taunton.
Lucy GreenThis is the second time I’ve been here. In my opinion it’s one of the better Ask restaurants. Good manager and good chefs, both times service was attentive and responsive. Last night we did the Easter egg painting experience which came with a reduction off the food bill afterwards. I’d really recommend it, my friends and I enjoyed the creative aspect and the meal was fab too. Great initiative and a good choice if you want to do something different with your mates. More please!
jonathan botesOrdered dinner this evening to be shocked that the food was totally prepared incorrectly and straight up got scammed into paying £15 per meal for 2 meals which only past arrived no meat ,no sauce ,completely tasteless totally taking the piss. I have requested the refund let’s see what happens but will never go back again. Yet another Taunton restaurant that can’t get it right. Spaghetti bolognaise has meat sauce and SPAGHETTI not tasteless linguini. Linguini carbonara is on linguini not spaghetti with dried melted mozzarella like a bowl of chips from the pub absolutely shocking man really do hope the person who made this disappointing meals gets told they need to find a new kitchen outside of Taunton
