Customer experiences
I stayed at this property during a work trip to Indianapolis. Overall, the hotel and its amenities were decent, though not quite at the level I’d expect for the price. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were especially accommodating when I arrived earlier than expected—they graciously let me check in ahead of schedule, which was a big plus. The room itself was basic but comfortable, with a cozy bed, clean linens and towels, and standard amenities like a mini fridge, coffee station, TV, and a functional work desk with good lighting. The bathroom was somewhat underwhelming. It appeared to have been renovated from a bathtub to a walk-in shower, which worked fine but felt a bit plain, and the toiletries were basic. A daily breakfast buffet was included, offering a decent variety of options. I only managed to try it on my last day, but it was fresh, filling, and better than expected. Overall, this isn’t a luxury hotel, but it delivers everything you need for a comfortable stay—especially if you’re traveling for business
If you're going for an event at Bridgestone Arena, the Hyatt's location across the street couldn't be better. Our room had a view of the arena, its basketball courts, and the skyline. Going to the game was a few easy steps out the front door. ||||HOWEVER... be advised that you will not sleep until after 3am due to the cruising that takes place in front of the hotel. We were on the 13th floor and it sounded like the non-stop engine revving and blasting music were right outside our window. We've experienced similar noise at other hotels in downtown Indianapolis, but this location took it to a whole new level. My husband called the front desk to ask when it would typically die down, and he was told "around 3am." Clearly this was not unique to the date of our stay.||||On a positive note, the hotel lobby and rooms are very clean, modern, roomy bathroom, great storage (dresser & armoire), and busy but fun onsite drinks/dining. Our room didn't have a bathroom fan and shower water pressure is so-so, but it was within the typical range for a hotel. Housekeeping seems to do a nice job. Our server at dinner was very friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable despite being understaffed. ||||Overall, I would unfortunately not recommend this hotel for an overnight stay unless management is successful in working with the city to enforce basic noise ordinances.
Absolutely had the best experience at this hyatt. The establishment and staff were 5 stars. From the valet to checking in, the resteraunt staff was incredible. Blake was very attentive, food was amazing. The room was very clean and spacious. When we come back for a fever game ,we will definitely being staying here again.
The room was very nice and clean. The king bed was very comfortable and being right downtown was easy to get places. However, our food that we ate at the bar really disappointed us and takes away from what would have otherwise been a great stay. We got a burger, pizza, and some drinks. The burger patty tasted like it was cooked in a microwave and it was evident that the bun went from the freezer to the stove because it was still cold and firm on the inside. I could have looked past it if the prices for the food were not premium prices as my bill was $70 after tip. If we are ever in indy again we would stay here however we will find elsewhere to eat.
