I am a Grace Supermarket customer for more than 20 years. The customer service and work culture that was there earlier is no longer there. Staff when requested to help just point a vague direction and say you will find what you want there and just chitchat. When some items we find in other branches are not here they don't reply responsibly. It is the same shop and different branch. But they say we don't have what to do. A few years back when this was the case the managers used to place an order and get it. But now it is gone. Still the staff who have been for many years work well. New staff are absolutely useless. When a staff member creates an issue and a customer raises complaint, the only action management takes is sending the concerned person to another branch where the person repeats the same mistake. How will changing branch make them better. It will be better to place such staff members in backend in packing etc.. I had such an experience at Mugalivakkam branch with a girl called Aishwarya. When she was continuously chatting with fellow staff and never responded she shouted when we pointed out. Later I was told she had issues with customers in Porur and hence she was moved to this branch. This didn't solve issues. Only the customer facing it is different. Also when I gave star rating, someone replied apologizing and asking us to call a number for feedback. But nobody answers. How do we then give feedback. I feel very sad because we have been loyal to the brand and new staff treat us like this. Grace is a great chain of super markets. However you need to train the staff better
